Porcelain countertop installation

Made for the everyday.

A kitchen surface has to work as well as it looks. We fabricate and install large-format porcelain countertops for Chicago-area kitchens, islands and vanities, with the layout planned around the way you use the room.

01 / The approach

The details make the kitchen.

Explore our work

A long island, a waterfall end and a run of wall cabinets each ask something different of a slab. Before fabrication, we review the cabinet layout, material choice, finished edges and appliance specifications together. That is where vein direction, joints and cutouts become a coordinated plan.

For a countertop replacement, send photographs of the existing surface and cabinets as well as rough dimensions. Tell us whether you are keeping the sink, cooktop and backsplash. Final fabrication follows site measurement and confirmation of the supporting cabinetry; an early drawing helps us scope the work but does not replace that check.

02 / In the details

Decisions worth making early.

01

Island & waterfall layout

Consider where the slab pattern turns over an end panel and where a joint will be least distracting. Seating overhangs need a support plan.

02

Sinks & appliances

Provide the exact sink and cooktop models, faucet holes and any accessories before cutouts are finalized.

03

Installation sequence

Share your cabinet installer’s schedule and who is handling plumbing and electrical reconnection so the estimate reflects the complete sequence.

03 / A useful first conversation

Bring your ideas.
We’ll look at the details.

These details help us discuss the scope, preparation and next steps. A drawing is welcome; a few clear photographs are a good start.

05 / Before we begin

A few useful answers.

Can you replace a countertop without replacing the cabinets?

Possibly. We need to assess the cabinet condition, level, support and existing removal requirements before confirming a replacement. Send wide photographs as well as close-ups of corners and the sink area.

Can a porcelain island be made in one piece?

It depends on the chosen slab, island dimensions, cutouts and the route into your home. We review those constraints before confirming the piece sizes and seam layout.

Do you install outside Chicago?

Yes. Our Elk Grove Village team serves Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Send the project address so we can confirm coverage and discuss site access.
