Porcelain fireplace cladding
Give the room a focal point.
A porcelain fireplace surround can be a quiet frame or the defining feature of a room. We fabricate and fit cladding for Chicago-area interiors, carrying the design through the face, corners and returns.
Start with the scale of the wall and the fireplace opening. A full-height surround needs a considered panel layout; a shorter feature may depend more on a carefully finished hearth or return. We review the slab pattern, joint locations and adjoining finishes before fabrication.
The fireplace appliance and its installation instructions guide the surrounding assembly. Share the make and model so the project team can confirm clearances, ventilation, framing and material suitability. Our cladding scope should be coordinated with the fireplace installer; changing the appliance or its venting is a separate conversation.

Can you clad a fireplace all the way to the ceiling?
We can discuss full-height cladding. Panel dimensions, wall preparation, support and the delivery route determine the fabrication and installation approach.
Can porcelain go around any fireplace?
Suitability must be checked against the appliance instructions, selected surface and installation system. We do not treat all fireplace assemblies as interchangeable.
Do you replace the fireplace itself?
This page covers surface fabrication and cladding. Tell us if the appliance is also changing so we can coordinate our scope with the relevant contractor.
